Profiteering (2006) is a work written in response to the American invasion of Iraq.

Scored for two bass clarinets, the work delves into the complex emotions and consequences surrounding modern warfare. Through dissonant harmonies, contrasting textures, and intense dialogues, the piece captures the tension and moral implications of war, shedding light on the intertwining of economic interests and personal gain.
